TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

I have worked in a variety of settings, gaining a breadth of training and experience. I have been an elementary school counselor, a therapist on a nonprofit ranch working with severely emotionally disturbed boys and girls, and provided therapy in a community mental health intensive outpatient program for adults. For the last year and a half, I have been a therapist in a clinic that specializes in providing services for children, teens and their families working with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and Adjustment Disorders.

I have extensive experience partnering with teachers and participating in creating Individual Education Plans to enhance school success, as well as providing diagnostic assessments and creating effective treatment plans for my clients. I have also completed training on providing effective therapy via telehealth.
